IHS-COVID Vaccine Survey
 
In the coming months, Pawnee Indian Health Center will begin offering the COVID-19 vaccine. Initially, we will focus on vaccinating at-risk patients ages 16 and up. Those at risk include individuals older than 65 years or having a medical condition including diabetes or ischemic heart disease or end stage renal disease or rheumatology.
 
The following populations are also encouraged to obtain the COVID-19 vaccine:
- Healthcare professionals
- Tribal essential workers including law enforcement, tribal council, fire, transportation food, teachers, others per tribal leadership
- Families of healthcare professionals and essential workers
If you meet any of these conditions, are you interested in receiving the vaccine?

The 2020 Census data collection has ended, but we still have a handful of free Pawnee Census T-shirts, size  3XL, and 4XL.

*shirts provided by the National Congress of American Indians

If you live local and want to stop by to pick up some shirts, please contact the Communications Office at 918-762-3621 Ext. 126 to schedule a time to meet outside of Building 64 for pick up.
 
If you would like 2020 Census Shirts MAILED to you for your household/family members, you would need to cover the postage cost. *You must have completed the 2020 Census for a FREE T-shirt.

Pawnee Nation CARES – Tribal Emergency Subsistence Assistance Program (TESAP)

The Pawnee Nation of Oklahoma has allocated money from the CARES funds to assist with the social needs of the Nation’s Citizens, due to loss of income, loss of job and other hardships created by the COVID-19 Pandemic. This funding will be allocated through the Tribal Emergency Subsistence Assistance Program (TESAP). 

TESAP will start accepting applications immediately with disbursements starting now until December 30, 2020. TESAP will provide a one-time, flat benefit of eligible award amount to assist with utilities, mortgage/rent, or other (as described below) COVID-19 based need. TESAP funds will only be applied to the most current charges on the bill.

Pawnee Nation Cares - COVID Recovery Program Application (PDF)

Applications are open to any Pawnee Nation Tribal member that has tested positive for COVID-19 will be eligible for assistance through CRP.
 
Applicants must test positive and be confirmed by a valid health care professional or testing agency. Results must be received BY a valid health care professional or testing agency via email to pawneeinformation@pawneenation.org or by fax (918) 762-6446 ATTN: Pawnee Nation CARES CRP.
 
General Information:
The Pawnee Nation of Oklahoma has allocated money from the CARES funds to assist with the social needs of the Nation’s Citizens, due to loss of job, loss of income and other hardships created incurred due to COVID Isolation. This funding will be allocated through the COVID Recovery Program (CRP).
 
CRP will start accepting applications immediately with disbursements starting now until December 4, 2020. CRP will provide assistance to aid with food, cleaning services or utilities, and rent/mortgage assistance or other COVID-based need (as described in the application).

Pawnee Nation CARES – Food & Supply Assistance (Non-Jurisdiction) Application (PDF)

The Pawnee Nation of Oklahoma has allocated money from the CARES funds to assist with the social needs of the Nation’s Citizen’s, whom live outside of the Pawnee Nation’s jurisdiction, due to loss of income, loss of job and other hardships created by the COVID-19 Pandemic. This funding will be allocated through the Food & Supply Assistance (Non-Jurisdiction) (FSA-NJ).
 
FSA-NJ will start accepting applications immediately with disbursements starting now until December 18, 2020. FSA-NJ will provide a one-time, flat benefit, to be used to help purchase groceries and personal protective equipment (PPE), to meet household needs in this time of pandemic.

  3. Copy of Tribal Member’s driver’s license with current address and must match address listed on lien entry form.
  4. Copy of Tribal Member’s CDIB.
  5. Copy of Insurance Verification
  6. Tribal Member’s phone number for Tax Commission to call to take payment.

Vehicle renewal documents:
  1. Copy of Insurance Verification.
  2. Copy of Tribal Member’s driver’s license with current address if changing address of record.

-One (1) positions on the Pawnee Tribal Housing Authority Board of CommissionersTerm is to fulfill remained of seat expiring October 21, 2021
 
- Two (2) positions on the Pawnee Nation Liquor Control Commission. Term is to fulfill remained of two seats expiring December 31, 2022.
 
- Three (3) positions on the Pawnee Nation Museum Board of Directors. Term is for three (3) years. Seats will open November 30, 2020.
 
- Three (3) positions on the Pawnee Nation Sports Commission. Term is for three (3) years. Seats will open November 30, 2020.
 
- One (1) position on the Pawnee Nation TERO Commission. Term is to fulfill remained of seat expiring December 31, 2023.
