Referendum Vote Updates

  • The deadline for absentee ballot requests has been set for May 24, 2008. All requests for absentee ballots must be received by the Election Commission on that date.
  • The Pawnee Nation Election Commission will mail out absentee ballots on May 27, 2008. Please call to make sure the enrollment office has a correct address and date of birth for you. Change of address forms may be downloaded from the pawneenation.org site. You may also call the Pawnee Nation Enrollment Office at (918) 762-3621. Signed change of addresses may be faxed to the Enrollment office at (918) 762-3810.
  • The date for the Referendum Vote on Constitutional Amendments has been set for Saturday, June 14, 2008. All absentee ballots must be received by the Election Commission no later than noon on June 14, 2008. Hand-carried absentee ballots can not be accepted. Absentee ballots must be mailed and received by 12:00 noon on the day of the election in order to be counted.
  • Please continue to check this website for important updates on the Referendum Vote. A sample ballot will be posted next week so that you may be better informed about your choices in voting.

June 14, 2008 Voting Site will be at the Pawnee Nation Multipurpose building located at 808 Morris Road.

The Polls will open at 8:00 a.m. and close at 7:00 p.m.
