Election Commission:

 

The Pawnee Nation has an Alternate position available on the Pawnee Nation Election Commission. Housing Board:

The Pawnee Nation has one position available on the Pawnee Nation Housing Authority Board.  The Pawnee Business Council appoints the seats of this board.  Seat #5 is an appointment for a term of three years, ending October 22, 2017.  If interested, submit a written request, along with a resume to Marshall R. Scholarship application is available for students residing within Pawnee Nation Jurisdiction:

The Housing Authority of the Pawnee Nation in collaboration with the Pawnee Nation Education Division is pleased to announce the NAHASDA scholarship opportunity for students who are currently enrolled in: Vo-tech (certificate seeking) or an associate’s/bachelor’s/graduate program and who have a permanent residence within the Pawnee Nation jurisdiction. This award is meant to help ease the costs of housing while students are in pursuit of a skilled labor certificate or a higher education. Click on this link for the letter and application.

 

STUDENTS:  New student application deadline is December 31st & continuing students from Fall to Spring application is due by December 6th.

Fall recipients continuing their education into the Spring Semester must fill out & submit a "Letter of Intent", turn in their Spring class schedule & Fall grades before the Dec. 6th deadline. (After this date a new application for the Spring Semester will be required.)

All students must take a minimum of 12 credit hours and meet or exceed a 2.00 GPA, both current & cumulative.

Pawnee Nation Tribal Members: VISA Gift cards are now available!

The application must be filled out completely; Pawnee Nation CDIB and a school official must sign the form, along with parent/guardian signature. Eligibility requirements are Kindergarten through 12th grade only and Pawnee Nation member residing anywhere in the world. We will be sending out the VISA cards weekly.

If you have received a card the previous semester, make sure the receipt has been turned in to be eligible for the current semester.

The Pawnee Nation Tribal Employment Rights Office (TERO) is currently offering employment opportunities for upcoming projects. All potential employees are asked to submit new applications during this process. Pawnee Nation Domestic Violence Program is seeking donations

The Pawnee Nation Domestic Violence Program is opening a new Domestic Violence Healing Center.  In order to ensure the success of this very important opening, we are seeking tax-deductible contributions to help decorate the center with traditional and/or healing art. The Healing Center belongs to the community and we feel it is vital to display traditional pieces in the center. Your donation will be listed in our event program, as well as in the Healing Center. Please mail your donation to 301 Maintenance Road, Pawnee, OK 74058 or call 918-285-1321 to make arrangements for pick-up or delivery of any artwork or traditional pieces you may wish to donate. Burial Assistance

The Pawnee Business Council shall set the amount for burial assistance in the annual budgeting process. The amount of burial will be established in the annual tribal operating budget.

The maximum amount of assistance available for 2013 and 2014 is:

a. $4,500 payable to the funeral home for burial

b. $500 is payable to the person financially responsible for the burial to be used for immediate needs

c. Any costs exceeding these amounts will be the responsibility of the person financially responsible for burial costs

d. Any funds not expended will be retained in the burial fund 2013 Funds Expended: $70,816.29
