Includes hands-on training with actual work experience and on-the-job training programs. In some cases, education participants have utilized the employment component for vocational exploration. Opportunities include subsidized, as well as, unsubsidized employment which can include clerical, construction, fire fighting, maintenance, apprenticeships, health fields and many more. Resume writing, job referral and other employment related services are also provided. Public and private businesses and organizations (for profit or not-for profit) as well as tribal enterprises/offices have benefited from employees obtained from PNO employment services.

The first step in receiving assistance through this program is “Intake.” The Intake Specialist will visit with you regarding your goals/objectives and refer to appropriate component of 477 services for further steps in reaching your goals.
